This room offers day care facilities for about 12 children for after school hours. Essential activities include playing – either quiet or boisterous, building caves, reading, drawing and simple handicrafts as well as celebrating birthday parties. The major task for this room settled in the basement was to provide a warm, comfortable and secure atmosphere and to promote a sense of well being. Furthermore, all the above activities were to be possible without disturbing one another too much.
